Giving new life to heirlooms

When client's have multiple heirloom pieces to work with we determine which stone or stones will be the center and then we build around it. For Leah and Max we chose to use the largest stones as the center stones for the engagement ring and used some of the smaller stones for the wedding band. We sourced the blue sapphires to incorporate into the engagement ring.  Leah liked how the blue sapphires popped and added another dimension to the diamond cluster.

Sometimes clients have heirloom pieces from different sides of the family and would like to symbolize the union by using stones from both sides in an engagement ring. Sometimes clients have jewelry gifted by a late parent that can be used to create something in memory of them.
